You can build dashboards for different purposes: weekly performance reviews, board presentations, seasonal planning, competitive analysis, and more. #### **Types of Dashboards** - **Custom Dashboard** — You create it from scratch. Fully customizable and editable by the owner. - **Pre-built Dashboard** — Expert-curated templates filtered for your account type. Not editable, but great for reference and inspiration. - **Report Dashboard** — A single report rendered as a full-page dashboard. Not editable. - **Shared Dashboard** — A custom dashboard another team member made public. Viewable by everyone in your organization, editable only by the owner. #### **Creating a New Dashboard** 1. From the Dashboard Catalog page, look for the option to create a new dashboard. 2. Give it a name and choose your date anchor setting: **Arrival Date** or **Booked-On Date**. 3. Your new blank dashboard opens in the editor, ready to build. #### **Building Your Dashboard** Once you're in the dashboard editor: - Add sections using the add/plus controls — each section holds one report. - Choose a report from the report picker — you'll see only reports available to your account type. - Rearrange sections by dragging them into your preferred order. - Resize sections to emphasize the data that matters most. - Set section-level filters if you need different filter settings for different reports on the same dashboard. *Note: Your changes save automatically. No save button needed.* #### **Dashboard Header Controls** When viewing a dashboard, the header bar gives you quick access to: - **Star icon** — Toggle favorite (yellow = favorited) - **Share toggle** — Switch between private (orange lock icon) and public (green building icon) - **Filter button** — Open the filter panel - **Date picker** — Change the active date range - **Email/Schedule button** — Set up recurring email delivery - **Export button** — Download the dashboard - **Merlin AI button** — Open the AI assistant #### **Using Pre-Built Dashboards** Pre-built dashboards are ready-made templates curated for DMO users. Browse them in the Pre-built section of the Dashboard Catalog.
